Favourites persist across browser sessions and sync seamlessly with ChatGPT's existing sidebar design. How do I add a conversation to Favourites?
Right-click any conversation in ChatGPT's sidebar and select "Add to Favourites." The chat will appear in a dedicated Favourites section above your chat history.
Is there a limit on pinned conversations?
The free tier supports up to 5 pinned chats. A Pro tier removing all limits is planned for a future release.
Does FavGPT read my chat messages?
No. FavGPT only accesses conversation IDs and titles to display them in the Favourites section. It never reads, stores, or transmits the content of your conversations.
Will my favourites survive browser restarts?
Yes. Favourites are stored in Chrome's local storage and persist across browser sessions, restarts, and updates.
Does FavGPT work with the ChatGPT mobile app?
No. FavGPT is a Chrome browser extension and only works in the desktop Chrome browser on chatgpt.com.
